At Granite State, we select our wood carefully. For exterior logs, we use Eastern White Pine because it offers both beauty and stability. All our interior timbers are Eastern Hemlock for strength and appearance.

We then hand-craft these materials to create one-of-a-kind homes. As opposed to companies that create standardized, machine-milled logs, every Granite State log is hand-peeled for a rustic, natural, unique look. And for the interior of our homes, we use hand-joined, natural timber frames. Since we cut our own log kits and do our own carpentry, we can ensure quality control of our materials from start to finish.
